Why this site exists
I am building Mike's List because local listings are useful, but they are also messy. A single calendar entry might contain an artist name, a venue, a theme, a ticket note, a recurring event title, and a clue about what kind of night it actually is.
My goal is to make that information easier to use without sanding off the local texture. Show Explorer is the first version of that idea: a place to browse music listings, featured picks, and nearby event life while keeping sources visible.
This page is where I can speak more directly about what I am working on, what I am noticing in the listings, and how the site is changing. I expect to update it as Mike's List grows.
